LoRaWAN New Temperature/ Humidity/ Soil Moisture Sensor Gen2

Makerfabs has plenty of LoRa& LoRaWAN products before(explanation of LoRa& LoRaWAN), but this is the 1st LoRaWAN® sensor for end-users, that can work via powering it , and setting the configuration in the cloud server, for LoRaWAN® remote monitoring. It monitors the soil moisture and air humidity& temperature, and report them every 1 hour.
This product mainly features:
- - Compatible with Worldwide LoRaWAN® Networks: Support the universal frequency plan from 863MHz ~928MHz;
- - Long Range: At least 2km in urban scenes and 5 km in line of sight scenes.
- - Battery& Working time: Sensor hardware& firmware detailed designed for power control, with 2 pcs common AAA battery, working time at least 2 years.
- - Simple to Use: Provides LoRaWAN® DEV EUI/ APP EUI/ APP Key, enable user to finish configuration in few steps.
- - Cost-effective: With Makerfabs’ strong ability on production, we make this product cost-effective to users, for mass implement in field applications such as farm/greenhouse, etc.
This new LoRaWAN® sensor monitor the soil moisture with capacitive method and the air humidity& temperature with sensor AHT20, it covers a transmission range of 2km in urban scenes and 5km in line-of-sight scenes while keeping lower power consumption during the transmission process. The board is coated with water-proof paint, supports -40 ~ 85℃ operating temperature. Makerfabs also prepared 3D printing case(design files), make it capable for common usages.
This Sensor is compatible with LoRaWAN® V1.0.3 protocol and can work with LoRaWAN® gateway，such as the SenseCAP M2 indoor gateway.
With LoRaWAN® gateway, LoRaWAN® sensor report the result to LoRaWAN® networks, such as The Things Network, with simply inputting DEV EUI/ APP EUI/ APP Key:
- - DEV EUI: Unique identification of device，authorized by IEEE；
- - APP EUI: Unique identification of application；
- - APP Key: One of the join network parameters on OTAA mode, calculated by DE EUI；
