The STM32+LR1121 is LoRa & LoRaWAN solution development board based on the Semtech’s latest-generation LR1121 multi-band LoRa transceiver, and controller STM32L476RGT6 32-bit MCU, It supports Sub-GHz, 2.4GHz, and S-band (1.9–2.1GHz) communication, meeting the diverse requirements of IoT applications, it is intended to be a quick developments solution that needs LoRa/ LoRaWAN.
Firstly the LoRa vs LoRaWAN is different, basically the LoRa is a Physical l layer protocol, while the LoRaWAN is protocol layer, based on LoRa, check here for the detailed. Common LoRa module such as the SX1262 act as a LoRa sender& receiver, if you want to run LoRaWAN protocol with SX1262, you will have a run the protocol on your controller, which requires high internal RAM/Flash, and need high programming skills. Makerfabs Agrosense series solves this by ASR6601 solution, but that coding works would be difficult for none-professional developers, can be only for enterprise developments.
The latest Samtech’s LR1121 solves this by its internal processor with build-in LoRaWAN protocol, that external processor(STM32 on this board) do not need to run LoRaWAN-related protocol, but just manipulate the LR1121 for LoRaWAN connection/data communication, via standard SPI. This greatly reduce the difficulty of LoRaWAN project development, user can concentrate on the local sensors/ actuators usage.
Of course we will not only provide you a demo board and leave our customer there to study the huge amount of development files, Makerfabs made detailed step-by step usage guide on this solution, for these uses to quick understand/learn how to make this, include:

As you got the solution works OK on your hand and if you ready to begin your project, Makerfabs provide hardware ODM service.
